Shoes…

Whenever Mom and I set up a booth at any event whether it be a farmer’s market or a vendor show, one of the items that made most people stop and look were the hand drawn shoes.  People would love the designs and they’d ask me if they can come in different sizes or if they could customize the designs on the shoes to which I said absolutely!  People’s fascination with the shoes I make, fills my heart with warmth.  It kind of reminds me of the scene from You’ve Got Mail where Meg Ryan is crying in a book store talking about “the shoe books”.  So I decided to do a little remix of the quote involving the shoes we sell…

“Spring shoes, and rainbow shoes and comic book shoes and spooky shoes and, I’d start with spring shoes they’re my favorite.  Although rainbow shoes are completely wonderful but they’re sold out.”
